  Great CSMA-owned Leisure Retreat in the hills just outside Combe Martin, largely aimed at couples and families of all ages looking for a peaceful break. A fairly small site, with good views across the valley. Owners and staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Nice little bar with pool table, WiFi and limited snack menu (as there are plenty of places to eat in the town). Small plunge pool on site and outdoor games area. The site is situated on the side of a steep valley, so may not be ideal for those with limited mobility, although there is space to park one vehicle fairly close to each unit. The town can be accessed on foot via a field and narrow and steep footpaths, possibly not recommended in wet weather.
  
  We stayed here for the Jubilee weekend, two adults and a six-year-old in a newly-refurbished chalet. Plenty big enough for 4 adults, very clean and well appointed, with all mod cons for self catering. Chalets are the highest-placed units on the valley side, so have the best views from their decks. They are close to the reception/bar - ours was the closest and we heard no noise all weekend.
  
  Readers should note that some older reviews on well-known review websites relate to the site before it was taken over by the CSMA, so they should be ignored.
  
  A great place to stay, and reasonably priced for CSMA Members. We will definitely be coming back.
